I have been up forever! Haha! Anna got up at 3:30am and stayed awake for 2 hours. After she finally went back to sleep, I just got up for the day. I’m ok, just 99% caffeine.

I cannot express to you the delight I felt reading all of your comments from the weekend posts. You ladies are absolutely blowing this challenge away. I love that we are already getting results 2 weeks in and all of you are killing me with your mindset. ROCK freaking Stars. Gah! (as Anne says lol)

Here are some of our food and fitness stuff!

Here’s Sarah’s BCAA’s and she made the coconut flaxseed bread that Christine gave her the recipe for!

Anne made clean pork fried rice! You and Sarah are so good at making faux restaurant food!

Christine made this amazing pesto chicken casserole with cauliflower rice and then these chocolate nutty treats made with just 3 ingredients. Nut butter, coconut oil, and chocolate protein powder sweetened with stevia. Yummy!

Then here is my fav vegan concoction right now. Normandy blend and fungus with dijon mustard and flaxseed. 🙂

How was the start to the week? Mine was good. Here’s my food and my workout was MHC Max Hammer Strength. Getting lower on my squat haha!

Lean, Mean, and Squeaky Clean Challenge – Gearing Up

Hi Everyone!!!

As of today we have a little over 3 months until our end date. Let’s rock these 3 months! We keep saying this but I really am so thankful for you ladies doing this challenge. This challenge is not just a way to get in shape for summer for me, it is a way to train my mind to do what I set out to do as well. That fact the way hold each other accountable everyday while constantly encouraging one another has proven to be paramount. I thank God for you ladies and I love what we are doing here.

Lean, Mean, and Squeaky Clean Challenge – Gearing Up

To gear up for the week, let’s answer these questions:

What is your “Why” in doing this challenge? (I know we already stated it but we have to remind ourselves!)

What are some things you learned these past few weeks that you can take with you moving forward?

Also, here are 3 superset workouts that can be done in 30 minutes for Melanie, You are doing awesome girl! Hope these help.

Do 3 supersets of each with 10-12 reps. You can do weights Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and then cardio Tuesday and Thursday. Just an idea.

Legs:
(Dumbbells or barbell)
Squats/Dead lift
Walking lunges (no superset, just 3 sets)
Sumo squat/leg curl

Back:
Pullups
Wide grip cable pulldown/Seated row
Close grip cable pulldown/ Seated close grip row

Shoulders:
(all dumbbells)
Overhead press/Upright row
Bent over rear delt fly/Front raise
Arnold press/lateral raise

Lean, Mean, and Squeaky Clean Challenge!

Anyone cheating today?

I did and it was the second one this week. Damn! Oh well. I just can’t do a cheat meal in the week because without a doubt I always want to cheat on Friday or Saturday.

Still kept it pretty clean. Had some of my little “nutty coconut cereal” I like so much but then I also had a bunch of these with garlic hummus….

They are so good! But damn nonetheless haha. Oh well, dusting myself off and trying again.

I am typing this in the afternoon so that I can spend the night with the fam so I will just post the rest of today’s food in the comments.

As of Sunday, we have 95 days until the 21st. I am taking my lessons and I am going to be in my best shape of all time the first day of summer. I will not be at my lowest weight of all time nor will I be perfect, but I will be at my best to date.

Hi Friends!

It’s that time again! What did you eat today? What did you do today? Hope all went well and goals were crushed!

Lean, Mean, and Squeaky Clean Challenge!

She said she didn’t eat any but look at the beautiful cake and cupcakes Sarah made!

The cake is made with coconut oil, grass fed milk, “00” flour, organic eggs and sugar.The icing is grass fed butter, organic sugar, and imported dutch coaco. Wow!!!

And for my workout I did another short cardio workout from The 20″s on BB On Demand. These things are great!

I am still really liking the vegan diet but today I had a headache. I’m wondering if it’s the same kind of thing as when I tried keto. In the beginning, your body has to adjust to the new way of eating and metabolizing. Who knows but I hope it doesn’t continue. Other than today’s headache my experience has been great so far!

I took today as my cheat meal. What does someone who doesn’t eat sugar and is a vegan for a week eat for a cheat meal? I know Pinterest is filled with tons of amazing vegan cheat meal recipes but you know me, still same ole G. Rockin the plain food.

I had a few bowls of this blueberry, nutty, coconut, cashew milk “cereal”. I always feel weird sharing my cheats because I know no one else thinks of them as cheats but they make me happy and that’s all that matters right? Haha!

Here’s the rest! Dinner was baby bellas and green beans with guac. So good!

Exercise was MHC Hammer Conditioning. 🙂

Lean, Mean, and Squeaky Clean Challenge – March 12, 2017

Hi Challengers!

I am posting this early so that we all can all make sure that we have our plan for success in place for the week ahead. I will post my food in the comments section tonight!

What is Your Goal and What is Your Plan For Success This Week?

My goal is to lose at least 1 pound this week. Here is my plan to do so. (Your groceries are so much better than mine Anne lol)

Plan for Success:

  • Eat 3 clean meals, and 3 clean snacks staying within my calorie range that was set for me by My Fitness Pal.
  • Workout 25-40 minutes for 6 days with one rest day.
  • Keep track of my weight by weighing each morning (I measure once a week).
  • Planning my meals the night before to ensure that I stay on track since I am trying a new eating style.
  • Checking in with all of YOU everyday for accountability!

What is your game plan for the week? What do you need to do to get to your goal? What will you be eating? When will you exercise?
